I have a PC and a Mac but at different houses. (1 at my mom's, 1 at my dad's) Here's my problem. I bought CoD2 for PC at a store (Gamestop). And at the end of my past school year I bought CoD2 for Mac from a friend for $20. I installed everything and SP plays fine, but when I try and play MP, I try and join a game and it says "CD-Key in use. Please try connecting later" or something very similar to that. I don't know what's going on. Help?

I think your friend may have given someone else your serial.

So should I return him the game and buy a new copy from a store? Or is there someway to make it work?

He is probably still using the key which is why you have that problem. Although since you have the PC version already and a key for that, I think you can use the key you have for your PC version for the Mac version. If you can their shouldn't be any conflict since you won't be playing on your PC and Mac at the same time.
