when i took the iwd and expanded it and edited the weapons. how am i supposed to put it back into iwd?

Zip the folder then change the extension of the zip file from .zip to .iwd.

Assuming you are running Tiger or later, when you right-click on the folder you have the option to make a .zip file out of the folder. You would want to do that then change the .zip to .iwd.

i did that but they didn't have the exe. icon

What exe icon? When the files are changed to .iwd they will probably either have a plain document icon or a CoD2 icon.

Are you talking about the create a zip function? You will see that function when you right click on the folder.
