Quake 2 mods OSX

I just recently picked up my Quake 2 mac game and dled the patch to allow it to work on my intel imac, and i haven't been able to find any mods for it .

I don't know how active these forums are, and i don't see any threads on Quake 2... but i thought i would try my luck.

Games like Doom 3 that i put mods on, i play on my vista OS..... but for quake 2 i really would like to stay Mac.

any ideas? i have looked on Moddb.com and quakeworld etc, and just can't find any.
