there are a lot of older games that could interest you! Try taking a look at the list of games that GameRanger supports; maybe there is one that interests you!

Team fortress 2 something I don't really like is.

It normally takes a lot to load. Are you sure you waited long enough?

I use Mac OS X. IMac intel
I updated the snow leopard. (Tiger => Leopard)

I bought this computer from 2008.
Must not forget this is not a computer that is the same as the 2010 and 2011, because of graphics card, memory improvement example: 1TB Dual Core etc ...

The loading screen take me around 3 - 5 min, each new game and loading.

As far as free games go, and games that are you know, not all just FPS's, here's ones that I've heard around. (I haven't played all of them, and some of them I don't know anything about).

I've played some of these (red) and they're pretty good. There's also Atmosphir, a sandbox-ish browser/client game and I enjoyed Wolfenstein ET for a while.

Others:
Black Shades
Nexuiz
Teeworlds (This game is awesome!)
Sauerbraten
Powder Toy (Based around the falling sands flash game)

There are more but I can't remember their names. Good luck.

Might I suggest Nova 2 or Modern Combat Domination? Both games are available on the App Store I think, but you will need to purchase them. Unless you plan to download them illegally...

Slow loading? Strange. My mac osx runs both games smoothly.
