Any way to extend Victoria 2 time limit on mac?

Is there any way to extend the time limit for Victoria 2 on mac? I understand this is quite simple on PC but for the life of me i cannot figure it out on mac.

Never played the game, but it looks like you need to modify the
same file which will probably be inside the app (right click on the app and show package contents).

Thanks a bunch! I found the file and was able to edit it. For anyone that might want to, it's "defines.lua" in the common folder. Also, if you want to edit the end date
you will need the version of TextWrangler downloaded from the Barebones site. It's free and bypasses all the security on the files.
