1.)How many hosted game rooms have you tried.
2.)Have you asked each one of the failed tested hosts if they had a router/firewall.
3.)Do you have the map they are playing.
4.)Is the game full.

Short review/FAQ from Selix of Doom.

i believe i found the main problem....
alot of people have a problem joining avpd games and i think one of the reasons is that some or all people cant join in X they ahve to be on 9... even though the version i have is for X...
it could be that GR isnt set up for people to join on X but im shooting in the dark there and that doesnt make sense... lol

Yeah it is, there are PLENTY of players (Not as many as GhR or AOE II, but a decent ammount) and the gameplay is fun.

More weapons, maps and player activity.

I'd say it's better. AND it's virtually free!

I'd say it sucks... And it's not completelyfree! (not worth the $5)

It's completely free and worth it if you play as much as I do.

I say GhR is retarded and not worth the cash; so live with your own opinions.

I've played it; owned it and beat it.

Plus it reminds me like lemmings (as said before in another post)

Now if you'll excuse me....::Goes off to an AvP game::

oh btw Loth, 'Cheat Codes' are codes inputed into the game for people who can't win on normal mode.

AvP is fun, but I don't play much anymore. Mostly because not many hosts and when there are people hosting, I am too lazy to insert the CD.

And yes it is cheap to buy. Hell, I got AvP 1 and 2 for only 20 bucks from some special deal. AvP costed 20 bucks alone at that site and AvP2 would have cost me 50 bucks but special deal.

The deal was there because the movie had just come out. They would give you both AvP games and a bag of popcorn for 20 bucks.. they ripped me off though. I never got that bag of popcorn. :D
Pfhor are like women. They are always getting on your nerves.
