Mac Gaming Mods

Just wondering if anyone out here plays tremulous? Its a pretty good game the graphics are fair, the weapons are awesome, the building idea behind it is pretty interesting, and it is 100% free. here is the site if you want to play:http://tremulous.net/

Its a bit weird. I dont like how aliens only have close combat (the projectiles are a joke...) and how they must advance through killing people. It makes it unlawfully hard to do anything as the humans simply set up turrets and watch the money stack up. And I dont like playing as humans because the shooting is so impossibly twitchy that its like chipmunk on caffeine trying to fire straight. Combine that with the mind-numbing speed of the basic aliens (the only advantage besides size, both of which they lose later on) and its... well its too hard. There is a Source game (a Half-Life 1 mod) that came out and this is modeled after it, but seems to try adding the insane reaction time of UT and Quake. I cant handle it but maybe you can. Also, that mod is coming out with a version 2 (which happens to be just like TF2, but developed by someone other than Valve). Kinda hope it releases for 360. I also wish I knew what the name was...

what file format did it come in for you? If it was in a hex file just choose to open it with the disk image mounter. then you willl be able to play.
I must admit that tremulous is extraordinarily fast. The projectiles the aliens shoot are actually one hit kills most of the time. Another advantage to playing tremulous is that you can easily make new maps for it with Macradiant.
