SOG and friends ADV scrimmage/tourney

Team vs Team tactical warfare. =D

I want to start working on the details...... probably some RvS. One of the cool adv gametypes like Hostage or Bomb.

Before we play against eachother we'll have a round or two of roaming the map so you can get the feel of it and know where to go etc....

More details to come.

Who's in?

*edit*
So far: Darby, Juanage, Sparrow, and I.

I was thinking we'd play 3 maps, 5 rounds per match, 2 matches per map, of the gametype bomb.

If you aren't familiar with the Bomb gametype here's the lowdown...

There are two bombs on each map. One team must prevent the bomb from being set off. The other team must detonate the bomb. I have the bomb timer set to one minute.

If you equip one of your gadget spots with a Demo Kit you can arm the bomb much quicker, and vice versa for the defending team can disarm bombs much quicker if set.

I have three maps in mind. The infamous de_dust, Ferry Boat, and Streets of Milan.

If anyone has some other map(s) they would like to play.... let me know, I'm always up for suggestions.

We'll make Monday nights ADV night.

We can lock down the server for the serious games. =D

Anybody still interested in this? maybe we change the game to CoD:UO?!

Maybe we could do an East Coast vs West Coast challenge, I dunno.

i'm slowly getting interested in cod. i saw a few game types on your server i never noticed before. extra funny: the panzer battles. unfortunately i get 220+ pings so there is some lag when the whole bunch is panzering.

We have an East Coast server up called SOG The DOG House. You should have a smaller ping on there. You won't find it on GameRanger tho. PM me for the password.

Just recently we have found a server that plays the game very different than the usual games you join on a public server. We are going to adopt this method and play very similarly on our servers. We are in the process of switching over to the method, and having the servers configured properly.

Stay Tuned.

Trying to...

I just saw You and a few other SOGs yesterday in a CoD room in GR. The ping was quite good but I couldn't join because of a missing weapons mod. Maybe you can list up your current mods and give me their links?

And btw. I sent you a PM for the pass, You got it?
