CoD demo's & Snapz Pro

Post by Vir2L™ » Tue Dec 12, 2006 1:27 pm

Okay, I downloaded the demo for Snapz Pro X. Pretty neat application. It's taken me all day to get the compression settings the way I want. One thing I haven't figured out how to do with it is record CoD:UO in fullscreen mode. I can only get it to capture the video when CoD:UO is windowed. Unfortunately when its playing in windowed mode the game-play looks a little choppier. =[

I should have the demo of the play from thursday night done later today.

Virch,

Have you tried to capture the demo via COD then, when replaying it, capture it with Snapz Pro?

Look forward to seeing you on the killing fields tonight.

I did, but I can't seem to get the file size below 100MB, even with a 3 minute video. I think I'm recording the demo at to high of a resolution. I'll try it a 1024x768 and then reduce it by 50%, see if I get an acceptable file.

I have come to the conclusion that I am only gonna use Snapz for clipz from the demos. I don't feel like recording 40 gigs of media for a half hour of action. So, I'll just post up the 5 MB demo file that people can view in CoD, and I'll also post some clips from certain parts of the demo file to view with Quicktime (via Snapz).

he he... those were awesome! specially the grand finale! I remember that battle, and my dissapointment that you escaped my machine gun blast (barely). It was epic and the gods were definitely favoring you in that one.
