I've found some sweet servers as of lately for desert combat, and gameranger is gonna support it soon as well.

I admit, the game is fun. Though, from what I've experienced in playing the demo on GR, my system may be lacking the performance needs. If the full version plays better than the demo, then I may make a stronger consideration to purchase.
Yah sure ya betcha!!

Wake Island is actually oneof the more prcessor intensive maps in BF1942. There are maps that i get better FPS on. If that helps at all.

Unknown plays it on a dual 533MhZ machine and gets pretty nice FPS. No complaints yet.

Well, BF and Secret Weapons are installed on my comp now. Only thing, though, this week is a bit on the heavy side as far as tests are concerned, so I'll probably have to refrain from play for a few days...or else!... :P
