Mac Gaming Mods

Hello,

I'm a gamer that used to play BF1942. I still have loads of mods on my MacBook (Forgotten hope 0.7, Galactic Conquest, BF Pirates, Desert Combat, DC Extended). I'm going to delete them soon because I don't play BF1942 anymore. I've googled around a bit and I found out that they are nowhere to be found to download for mac. So if there is ANYONE out there that wants these mods, then please contact me here. And if anyone can give ma a GOOD website to upload these mods then it would be fine too, thanks.

Now, i have never played BF1942 and i don't think i will anytime soon; but deleting some pieces of work like that is just not right.

You should upload them somewhere. How much does a BF1942 mod weigh? If they fit all in a <100 megabytes .zip file, you can upload them to mediafire.com.

Otherwise, if you zip them one by one and each file weighs less than 100 MB, you can use the same site to upload them.



…it just doesn't feel right to erase that informations. ;_;

I do have these mods somewhere. I'll have to dig them out so we can compare versions. The reason I haven't added them back here is the size of the mods and that not many have come looking for them.

Just found out that I don't have GC mod anymore, but I do have it somewhere on a DVD. The mods are packaged already and these are the versions:

- DC Final (464,4 MB) - I can remember that there was a Desert Combat version before Final, but I don't seem to have that one.
- BF Pirates 3.1 Full (284,3 MB)
- Forgotten Hope 0.7 (4 parts, 3x 650 MB + 331,8 MB = 2281,8 MB = 2.3 GB) Maybe I have FH 0.67 on a DVD but I have to check that.
- PIrates Final (? I don't know if this is another version, 460 MB)

Interstate 82 is still around somewhere (is82.com). I also have Desert Combat extended (2 versions, old and a newer one), but I need to pack those.

How long do the files stay on mediafire before they get deleted? It would be nice to have a website where they stay on for years.

@TaxiService: Yeah, I used to play these mods for ages and I enjoyed them a lot. But now I have others games on my MacBook and there isn't space for it =S. My harddisk space is like 150 GB and that isn't big. If I had 250 GB or a TB I wouldn't delete them...

U can create a dropbox.com account and place them there. 2gb storage. I would love to get my hands on Galactic Conquest, as I just installed it BF1942 for my mac.

Cheers will check. Monoman can you check your versions with mine? So if they are the same I can delete them, and if not I'll upload them somewhere (will check dropbox).

well, sparky did say he was using little of his allowed storage for http://www.halodemo.net (could be out of date) And he doesn't seem to mind uploading of files other than halo. Last time i checked the file size limit was a gig or 2. but I would ask sparky first. .

I have a FTP program now to upload the files, Monoman said he was involved with some sites thast hosted them. So idk where to host them now. Waiting a few more days for Monoman to reply and otherwise I'll contact halodemo.net.

Just letting you know that I would most definitely like to get my hands on any mod you can offer me. All I've got right now is the game, its two expansions and the Eve of Destruction mod.

I'm looking for it since a while, especially the pirate mod for mac. If anybody has it, is it possible to upload it on mediafire or whatever ? I really really want to play Pirate Mod again with my friends.

They should be on the server now, ask Monoman for a download link I guess.
