DS? Did you mean Desert Combat? If yes, are you sure the maps are compatiable with the mod.

I checked around and it seems you are not the only one having problems with DCX maps on a Mac. When I checked no one knew what the problem was. Thats about all I can offer since I don't have the game.

DCX is not fully compatible with mac, and i don't think they intend to do anything about it..

i've tried the mod and only 2-3 maps work on the mac but with many bugs.. even some of the weapons, for example one of the rocket reticules has bugs,

sure it's got some new and better stuff that DC, but don't bother keeping that mod..

those aren't just plain maps, they're called 'MODS' :P

so far i think desert combat is still the best, eve of destruction is OK but im having trouble with the frame rates of that mod on my comp, it's very low

I am aware they are mods, as I found them in the Mods section, on a website

But does anybody know of any other maps that do work? the only other Map I found came in a map pack and had a Quarry Map [to much use of the word MAP in that sentence]

I have had no prob out of the DCX mod expect for gliches in the maps (but its not realy that great of a mod), The DC mod is great.. a few pc clans have made some maps for it, The GC mod is sweet.. but only works online, I have the FH mod.. but it crashes on map load up. EoD is realy cool. The interstate mod is cool..... if you know peeps who want to race the vehicle around a track and try to take eachother out (its a racing mod kinda like Carmageddon). I have the BF pirates mod but have not tested it yet and a few other mods as well
