Make the general spread wider.

Homing weapons will usually (but not always) home in on a target when the reticule is red (one target only). I do not know any way to force homing on multiple targets. You may want to try the meta values "autoaim angle", "autoaim range", "magnetism angle", and "magnetism range" in Eschaton. (in "weap" tag, probably "weap > weapons/rocket launcher/rocket launcher", using starter plugins)

Only when you point at another target, or if another target shows up in front of the current target. (as far as my current experience with the Needler shows me)

I think we would have to script a new rocket projectile and do something withy CE to actually make it work. But its a nice idea. I just dont have any resources to work from right now.

use the ar and proj swap. go to rocket proj and set homing\turning to 3. also change max and min spread to zero. you dont have to lock on

That's not really the answer, because it uses multiple shots ...

Also: I played in such a mod. I sat in the cave above Blue Base & had 57 kills.

The number of rockets you shoot is the rocket launcher weap tags

It's not about the number of rockets.

^ Of course. Thats right

Also to atempt an answer: Theres a numeral you acn set so it fires X projectiles. Its how the showtgun works. So just make the accuracy of the weapon close to crap and give the rockets SUPAH homing. Test and tweak the weapon until perfect, then let bake for 30 minutes on medium heat until golden-brown. Let cool in fridge overnight. Then serve and give to meh.

Excellent

My advice is to set the weapon type of the rocket launcher to shotgun. Then give it 5 projectiles. Give those projectiles high homing values (ca. 30 or so). Remember to increase the ammo clip size and other firing properties. Then bake for several minutes @ 425 degrees, and… well, maybe not. Set the projectile firing spread under the weap tag, then mess around with those magnetism values as previously stated. Basically, do this before anyone else beats you to it, cause it sounds cool :D

Will projectiles home in to targets that you're not aiming at? As far as I know, they always home in to one target, because the homing is the same for projectiles spawned at the same location using the same reticule.

Somewhat off topic:

If rockets are baked at 425 degrees, won't they blow up?

Has anyone found a way to do real dual-wielding in Halo PC/Mac yet? :P
