We generally label them if they have CE content.

What's the nicest way to integrate this? In the description or in an extra field, like:

Code: Select all

Imports: CE, Full, (left blank)
Technically, even Crossing uses CE imports. Mota's tag pack is CE content, so...

CE is fine incases. As long as its not just random weapons and bipds. What Moxus and many other people did with CE and built a map, I think is just fine. It should be encouraged for people to make Scen based maps. CE

I think Mota addressed that one well - Crossing isn't an import mod because it utilized the imported material in a unique and distinct way, different from the original use. In that sense, CE is fine; you're not relying solely on the work of the person who made the custom content, but rather are using it to advance something you've made yourself.

Many thanks to the people who have made my years on MGM and on Halo Demo so memorable.

I know I'm new here but on the topic of judging "fun" there should be different "fun levels".

ex:

realism: as in how this is believable making it fun
combat: as in how the combat is fun (good weapons, good spawns)
map: is the map fun to play on?
appeal: this would be the appeal of the graphics making the mod look "good"

would this help solve the "fun" issue?

LVL1K, I like your idea for the judging, but for the category "map" you should try to make more detailed. What do you mean by that?
