Re: Halo Third person?
I would ask Fonzie, if he is still active here. It has something to do with the Turret, that is all I know. There is a tag somewhere for it...

Bump. Sounds interesting, by any chance do you know the tag's type?Spartan-006 wrote:I would ask Fonzie, if he is still active here. It has something to do with the Turret, that is all I know. There is a tag somewhere for it...

Re: Halo Third person?
Bad puns aside. I tried that too. My question is WHY that didn't work. Is there some other factor that controls the camera track (which would be weird, cuz if it's not camera track that's the camera track, then what is it....)? And if so, where is it?Sparky wrote:To do this in CE, I think you would have to create a new biped and set the #head marker to behind the actual head, and also create a new camera track. So headshots would be pretty impossible if you aimed for the head of the spartan model. I tried doing this with the metadata editor in Eschaton (using my plugins? I don't recall...) and my camera track hypothesis didn't "pan" out (heh, camera/gold mining pun in one!).Unknown-D wrote:... By the way, I'm hoping that the method DOESN'T require CE.

Bump. At least we got a new step to work on. Now the question is, how to set the #head marker without using CE.Vegerot wrote:Bad puns aside. I tried that too. My question is WHY that didn't work. Re: Halo Third person?
Would if I could. Pity I don't know any friends of mine who actually know how to use CE properly. >.>Vegerot wrote:...Ask someone else to use CE?
