Hex Codes and Sparkedit For Mac...

Post by Mota-Lev » Tue Jun 26, 2007 10:21 am

Hey i know this might be a stupid question but anyway. How do the hex codes for the bloodgulch and silent cartogropher(sorry if i spelt it wrong) work? because that would be great if i could mod using those codes aswell as the ones i have already.

Also how do i get sparkedit to load a map do i need to have the map set to full of demo version? Because when i try it nothing shows up its just a black screen.

So Thanks to anyone that helps.

Not sure what you mean by getting the hex codes to "work." If you have HexEdit or Hex Editor you can open up any map in it.

How did you get sparkedit for mac?

In order to use Sparkedit:mac, you have to have two things:
1: bitmaps.map in the same directory as the map you are viewing (note, not modding since sparkedit for mac doesn't do anything except load models, textures and bsps).
2: the full version header for your map.
