Hey!
Im working on a mod where you are going to plant a bomb in the oppenents base (like CS), but im having some problems. I want it to be an explosion when youve gotten the bomb in the enemys base, like it lies on the ground for like 10 secs, then KABOOM! any suggestions how to do that?

Set your "bomb" to be a frag grenade. Then you can set it so that only one frag grenade appears on the map. Once that's done you should be able to go into eschaton, go to the weap tag, choose frag grenade, and set the detonation time float to 10. Not positive if this will work, I haven't messed with detonations really, but I think it will.

you can use only 2 grenade at time, like plasma and frag.
but you can do something like a grenade launcher. that shots a grenade that you made... wait how can i say....
for example, select the mp_needle proj and change all the floats, shorts, etcetera to the frag grenade one. then you will modify arming time to what you want... (sorry if i cant write some complete concept... i hope you will understand)

Cant i do like, when youre holding the bomb and walking over the enemys flag base, the bomb drops down so it will be like a frag nade's proj... and i delay the detonation to like 10 secs and then KABOOM! And maybe ill replace all the frag nades with plasma nades... (how u now do thatTaxiService wrote:hmhmhhm i dont know....
the weap tags cannot explode, only the proj tags can
(and vehi tags too... but not in mp)
eh... i would try something like a bomb launcher/dropper, maybe that can hold only one bomb... you know

Yes, thats excactly what i had in mind! And how to make the flag to a bomb... maybe i can swap the flag with an oddball and resize my custom bomb so its the perfect size as the oddball so it wont look screwed up when the Spartans holds it. and maybe thats it!
