radar modding..

is there a way to change or mod the radar?
i have a macbook pro with a gfx card that isnt compatible for the halo demo radar

but i also have halo full universal and the radar does work on their..i was wondering if i could switch the radars somehow...

i kno ppl been saying that the radars are the same...but..why would it work on full and not on demo then?

Modding the radar to be longer/extend farther and maybe a few other things: yes

Swapping full to demo radar... Interesting. Someone should try it

The radar utilizes a set of bitmaps. A mask, a blip, a couple others...

Wrong section, no?

Edit: Also, payment isn't needed.

Since lots of modders that ive been talking to dont kno wth im talking about...or dont think its possible...i feel like messing around myself
i just need some starter pointers tho...what program do i use to edit a "bitmap.map" file?

Umm if it's an intel Most intel's radar wont show up.

because my sisters 1st version of the macbook pro radars work

but my 3rd generation macbook pro radar doesnt work

I can attest to this. I know someone with a first generation Macbook that has a Radar in Demo.

wait explozer, is your radar "invisible" meaning there's the area where it should be and its not there or is the screen a little bit to small so the radar is just off screen... i dont know exactly what would cause this, but i made the radar go off screen well messing around... maybe when you downloaded it and something got messed up

The problem happens on intel macs, and there's not any known fixes from what I remember. For full, you just need the UB version of halo.

Yeah but just to make it clear again i dont believe that its only because that its an "intel" card....Because i kno many ppl with macbooks with intel that have thier radars working

but my computer has some cool but yet stupid "gfx card" that isnt supported for the radar in halo demo

but halo full ub update seemed to have updated the radar somehow so that it would work

Its the graphics card thats fucking them up, I myself had an Intel iMac along with my friend Jake2032. either I nor him had this problem. Its the Nividea 800M Gfx Card... idk if thats the model.. but thats the one that fucks up. Beast has the same problem.

Yeah, my MBP doesn't have those problems but I have the ATI RadeonX1600 installed. Not much to do since halo isn't even marketed anymore for macs, let alone supported.
