Yeah....so I'm completely new to modding, and I wanted to at least try to swap some items and stuff...I've been trying to ask people what to do, but they just say "you have to experiment. I'm not going to tell you."
Well, I've never modded anything in my life, and I'm only 13. I have never programmed anything except for in BASIC...and that was just text-based.
So...I just want someone to tell me what means what because I'm looking at hexedit and I don't have a clue what any of this stuff means. I know what hex is, I know what ASCII is, I just don't know where to start.
Please help,

age doesnt matter my friends brother is 10 and is in advanced computer science. and basic as in real basic?

BASIC as in the old, old programming language.
