What about the Viper from battlestar galactica, they are pretty darn cool fighters.

Dictionary:
1. A violent physical or verbal attack.

3. Law
a. An unlawful threat or attempt to do bodily injury to another.
b. The act or an instance of unlawfully threatening or attempting to injure another.

a. Law Sexual assault.
b. The crime of rape.
v. as·sault·ed, as·sault·ing, as·saults
Is not bombing a military attack against a fortified area or place? or am I smoking the wrong plant?

Therefore any ship that attacks something an assault ship.

Well, in the Halo series, the smallest transport ships are actually Orbital drop-pods such as the HEVs, Orbital Insertion Pod, and finally the Flood Dispersal Pod. As for the largest Assault Ships, try looking at the Assault Carrier, the CCS-Class Battlecruiser, and the Marathon-class Cruiser.

And, to back SpitFire up, I will also say that the LongSword is a space fighter and bomber craft, while the Lifepod is a one-use escape pod. As such, it is a transport ship, but one lacking sufficient propulsion for a shuttle classification (in my mind).

It would be nice to use the Forerunner Dreadnought, the UNSC Forward Unto Dawn, a Marathon-class Cruiser, CCS-class Battlecruiser and an Assault Carrier. Those are the kinds of ships I meant by capital ships and small fighter carriers.

I have an idea that will make boarding huge spaceships easy, so don't worry about size - it's ok if they're really big.

If you're making a carrier, think about how the velocity will affect onboard small craft - make sure the banshees wouldn't go crashing all around inside the ship.

I agree, though there are several different versions of viper this is the classic design.
Mota where did you get it? maybe we could have A battlestar with several vipers on board, Keeping the BSG elements consistent

WE don't want too many ships per map because of the 16 player limit.if we have to many,then we wont have as many fighters. I think at MOST we should have 2 capital ships per team.

Also what is the possibility of having each teams flag on a ship and having to send boarding parties on drop ships to capture the flag and return it? This would intensify game play.

how about this idea?:

4 or 5 scenery ships 2 are in the middle of the map and 2 on the other sides of them this makes the battle field. the ones on the out side are bases and are for flags while the ones in the middle are for things like oddball balls and if you can change where the juggernaut spawns put him in there, king of the hill and race would be fun. Each base has a few vehicles inside them and weapons and things like that in the middle there are no weapons because these ships are derelict not operational this means that if you land on one you can fight inside the ship or on the outside of it but if you fight on the outside of it then you get pwnd by all the vehicles

how was that

Guys if it helps I have a lot of the human ships I made sometime ago. And some recently. They are like Forward unto dawn, Pillar of autumn and Python or something plus more but I don't know there names.

Plus a very very large one called The Human Mother Ship.

And the Covenant Capital Ship. Sorry Moxus if I got it wrong.

That sounds like fun, olly: we'd use space ship scenery as space stations, right? The scenery wouldn't be mobile, would it?

My concept involves space stations on both "ends" of the map (quotes for obvious reasons) where you begin. Each station has huge hangars where ships are docked. I'd like to get a tag for a hangar door (like the one from halo full) so we can have real docking bays.

The main feature of Galaxy Wars would be the space ships, but using derelict spaceships as space stations would work too - but I'd only want them in the middle. The team bases shouldn't be the derelict ships. How about you have to go through them to get to the enemy base? I'd use bridges, rather than teleporters - we want players to enjoy their power in flying a space ship, rather than trekking it to the flag. The also makes ground assaulting more exciting. Weapons need to be tweaked to allow evasion.

I think moving scen would be pretty awesome, if we could get some sick CE tags to use for it. Fighting aboard a busted-up space station hurtling across the map area (probably in orbit around the area) would be pretty cool.

Edit: Also, as for gravity and things, a "space jump" can be replicated by setting the distance jpt! at .001 damage and giving it a bit of force. If the force is calculated properly, you will be able to "bounce" into space. I'm not sure of the right values, The Drop, which I made some time ago, used this. The problem in the drop was that you continued going down slowly, like bouncing down an invisible staircase. For this reason the force value would need to be adjusted so that you stay at one height the whole time you bounce.

No, sparky I think he actually means derelict ships not spaceship scenery making space stations. Also he is saying that we should have working ships for bases. Notice how he says:
ships are derelict not operational
I don't see anything about space station. But this seems like a good idea.
How about this: each team has a base station, on each station is a flag, weapons, 2 troop carriers, 3 fighters, and 1 capital ship. between the 2 bases are several derelict ships and in the very center is a derelict station. The station would hold an extra capital ship containing some smaller vehicles.

About new CE tags, I am getting my friend (pc) to download ce and i might be able to get him to make stuff.
