I'm not the one who created the original sigs and template.
So I don't know why it's lighter.

After recording your videos in Snapz, You will see a Screen that comes up before you do the final video export.

Before you do anything, you click video settings, at the top of the new window that comes up after you click that, make the "compressor" MPEG-4.

This will make 3 minute recordings a meere 50-200MB.

And I mean background as in, not a sig, but a full on fancy shmancy background

Thanks, Im gonna test that out in a bit as I make an introduction to the very basics of modding with Eschaton.
Also, we are MACgamingmods. Why not just use a mac background? And we also need an avatar... I suggest we cut out the mac logo on the "Fanboy" sig of mine.

Hmm... I like. Perhaps we can drop "The community", replace it with a title and animate it? That would make a good intro. Or just make a single intro like Machinima.com's and give it out for people to add in front of the vids...

EDIT: Totally forgot. Any good sound settings? Im sure the one Im using is probably not so good either. And the soundtrack and mike sounds I assume should be the same preferences. Anyway. Ill start putting together a tutorial for very basic use of Eschaton as well as separate videos for an in-depth look at some of the more major tags (weap, bipd, proj, jpt!). Then I can work on sharing the underused effects modification.

EDIT^2: YES YES YES! Thank you so much Fonzie! I made a 50 second, nearly full screen test. It looks great, sounds good enough, and is only 15MB. Now I can free up another 1.5 GB and re-flim those mod videos. I still need in-game audio to work. Might try that again...

This project is a great idea. I hope it works well, and if not, we at least will have a large deposit of tutorials that people will actually watch. its annoying enough when they dont read the stickies. And some of those tutorials are confusing as all hell, even with the pictures. Video is the way to go.

To edit sound simply go into the Sound settings as you did with Video, All you gotta do then, is change the Setting "mono" to Stereo... thats really all you need, unless you want to make the Sampling 192kbs, but its not necessary.

Also, All films will be uploaded at a 848x480 resolution, its small, and widescreen, and fits the youtube widescreen perfectly, and enables HQ.

And for your sound problems drac, I would suggest re downloading and installing Snapz, use Appzapper to uninstall, then download the latest version, if you need a Time Resetter, I have one.

After you have re installed, when you press shift apple three to record your movie, select the Move Option, then as the lines come up that you select what your going to record, in a box at the top it should have a check option called "mac Audio" or something similiar.

Check that, and thats it.

Also on the video export page, make sure "mac Audio" or "audio" is also checked, or it wont be exported on export.

Perception, why dont you actually register and Join and make an account, be a lot easier than having to type in a robo code, then copy pasting your sig everytime you post, and putting in a Guest name, think of the time youll be saving lol.
