CE is not necessarily bad. Properly utilized, it can serve as a very useful complement to a mod. That being said, CE used badly (as I've said before), say, the main focus of a mod, and nothing else, is suckish.
Because of that, now there's a stereotype going around that states "CE in a mod = Fail". As a result of that stereotype we get "CE not in mod = Epic". IMO this is all wrong. CE is fine, I have nothing against it; it is how you
use CE.
So just because that sword was not from CE doesn't mean it's awesome.

Well this is my rule of stereo type
1. If the ce is used correctly and is made by the user, its awesome
2. I f the ce is used correctly and is not made by the user, its okay
3. If the ce is not used correctly and is not made by the user, it sucks
4. If the ce is not used correctly and is made by the user, its somewhat okay

Personally I'd disregard the knowledge of "Who made it". Who made it doesn't factor into the 'enjoyment' of the mod. If he/she made it, kudos and +rep all around, yes, but not associated with the mod.
So yes, kudos to whoever modeled the Energy Sword. *non-sarcastic applause*
Still, the mod is not necessarily awesome just because someone modeled the Energy Sword instead of taking it from CE.

This mod was to show that we Macs can do so much without the use of CE, it was a good old MAC map.
I support G[v]Ns view, as many people have seen.
If the CE import is the focus of the mod, then the mod isn't that good.
If the CE import was to improve the mods gameplay, when you already have many modded weapons and a map, then it is fine.

Well, it's only good if you stay where it is, because of the projectile... but I think you should change the effects and stuff so that it gives you super jump, one hit (melee) kill, and maybe invincibility (except for melee in the back, falling damage, and when multiple people fire at you)

hmm.. im thinking that takes scripting...
the skull's effe is VERY unstable (on purpose) so use it at your own risk.
i thought i had made it one hit melee...

Well, I haven't been able to test it on people yet... and is there a teleporter to get to the skull? Because I have had to find other means of getting there.
(maybe you could make the skull turn you invisible, just like in the Juggernaut gametype, I don't think you need scripting for it, maybe use a chainspawning thing)

CHAINSPAWNING
Effect could make an active camouflage spawn on top of you, and it lasts for the whole game, editing times helps. (the original time is 60 seconds, maybe turning it to 9999 makes it unlimited, I believe from my tests)
And no teleport? Damn, guess there's no easier way to get it. Shame.

Yeah, I think I know both... and if I don't, then there's 3 ways. May I say them if I don't give out the location? (and it took me all night and a bit of this morning to find skull)
