I'm not saying there's anything wrong w/ being lazy! lazy is fun! i'm saying that you need to learn the hex first to truly mod. Also, i never said swaps are bad! Dude, swaps are the best, and if you're too lazy to do that in hex (which btw takes 2 seconds) then seriously consider sitting down in a chair and do nothing for the rest of your life.

I never swap in HMT. It dosnt work. i dont replace in HMT either (except for things about the weapon/vehicles) because there is no practical way. And swap mods pwn. Monoman, you should make a contest for best swap mod because the last one took too much time to make. Swap mods - 60 seconds and its most likely finished. We'd definently get some serious noob mods though...

Depends on what is actually in the swap mod.

The idea would have to be narrowed down more or the contest would be full of people who swapped the warthog for the ghost or something similar. At least the flame one you had to be somewhat creative. How do you judge the best swap? Ooooo, I really like how the AR shoots plasma. :P

I dont know... Have 4 people play the mod for 5 minutes, move to the next, then the next and so on until they decide which they had most fun in. The unfun ones can simply be stopped in-game and not played. Or each individual could do that, and vote...

Such as: The Un-Named Mod (by me) is made completely from swaps and yet one of my freinds plays it non-stop because he likes it. Its interesting how I thought of no-fall damage back then... At least it worked. :D

I got a good contest for you... Mod-Off. I have a mod that I'm working on, that I'm planning on releasing either before or after Christmas. I wouldn't mind releasing it in a Mod-Off.

The only limit in the contest would be no Halo CE Rips.
