Is it more robust then blender?
Im trying to see if its worth getting the personal learning edition.

Well I've been gone, I didn't know that a new modeling app that is free came out.

First off blender is pretty powerful, its just kinda unstable.
I only have blender and rhino experience thus far but now that there is the maya personal learning edtion I can use an industrial grade modeling program for free and legally.
^thats the PC download link, but you can get it for mac as well.

I use blender and am completely fine and the newest version is better for effects like fluid because it has more options.
