How do you upload files anyway? I click the "Upload file" link on the left column under the toolbox, and it says that I do not have permission.

I am no longer active to Halo or MGM, and don't guarantee a response on the forums or through email. I will however linger around the discord room for general chatting. It's been fun!

Right, I've just been switching them myself. I don't know how to make them rotate; is a script involved that would randomly select them from a provided list? Please point me in the right direction.

nil.halodemomods.com and point to my Wiki userpage
Thanks. ;D

50 GB of space seems plenty, 150 MB file uploads seem plenty too, and this just has to be better than edgefiles for downloading mods ;p
Ok, I'll do that for you in just a moment... and congrats in advance

That's right, I've made it so that only members of the "modders" group can upload files. This is to prevent abuse by people who are just visiting the site. If a visitor wants to upload files, they'll have to join the official modders group there. Any comments on this point? Do you want anyone to be able to upload files? I'll look into the details pertaining to groups and get back to you with more info.

Yeah, I noticed this too.
Remember that this is Halo Demo Mods, so we might want to stick to the material from our mods or directly from the original files. Along this train of thought, however, we could make a mod that includes content from Halo 3 and then have a basis for posting related images. So perhaps this is implying that it essentially doesn't matter which content we use from the Halo series.

Let's make every possible gametype and upload them to the wiki. On this page, we should have a table/chart with all the possible gametype rule combinations, and then upload them. It should go really quickly, because the actual gametype files are less than 1k when in .zip format. We could also include an HDM gametype pack that contains all these files in one download, with the files sorted in folders.

Speaking of which, we also need a page called "Gametypes" that will describe them in detail, including how to use them, their file structure, etc.

EDIT: Recent vandalism by one of our registered users has prompted our need for a policy. Please offer your suggestions for a new policy for HDM.
EDIT2: Only registered members may edit the Wiki now.

Clanhalo has a good table of gametypes and their folder numbers in the blam folder. ( http://mac.clanhalo.net/index.php?page=gametypes ) Perhaps that could be used.

Hopefully this was not me? =\

Oh, and I thought file upload limit was 150 MB? It gives me a warning when I try to upload a file larger than 150 KB. (Thanks for putting me in modders group by the way)

You're welcome to ignore that warning. I'll see if I can get rid of it, too. However, it's nice to know exactly how large the file is that you're uploading, and it does tell you this...

No, you're not the spammer. I warned him about it, so if he keeps spamming, I won't hesitate to publicly humiliate him... right after I ban him :P I'd like to think that we can all post useful things on the Wiki.

Oh, and check out this new mod database page: http://halodemomods.com/mediawiki/index ... d_Database
All our MGM mods will be listed on this page. It would be nice to have a little description along with each mod. For my userpage, I've only listed my mods; when you click on the link, the file's page allows room for an in-depth description, too.

Yeah... another double post O_)
I'm pleased to announce that we have two new proud owners of subdomains at HaloDemoMods.com: Nil and myself! Check out our pages:

Thank you. You can now go about your business.

EDIT: Wait, before you do that, I have a question. Which mods can be considered single player mods? I mean, aside from someone who can't host...

How are we going to get all the MGM mods from the main site onto their anyway? Manually adding them all would kind of suck.

Oh, by the way, my subdomain appears to not be working :(.

B30 modifications are single player modifications.

[EDIT2:] @ Modzey, I made a user page for myself too :D.
[EDIT3]: Subdomain appears to be working now.

And now, for a bit of spam...
HURRAY! 99th POST!
...spam over.

Can we come up with a list of all the published B30 (single player) mods here at MGM? We can start with the Refresh mod, I assume...

Modzy and Fonzie: Do you want subdomains (modzy.halodemomods.com and fonzie.halodemomods.com) that point to your Wiki user pages?

-.- What armor do we use in our Halo Demo mods? I restrained myself from using the Hayabusa armor in the second pic but nooo, this is HALO DEMO.

is that sarcasm pro-taxi or anti-taxi?

in any case, USING HALO 2 OR HALO 3 PLAYERS OR CHIEFS FOR A HALO 1 MODDING GROUP LOGO IS SO FUCKING STUPID!

ANYTHING RELATED TO HALO 2 OR 3 MUST NOT BE USED IN ANY HALO 1 LOGO OR BANNER! IT'S GODDAMN SENSELESS! >_< AUGH! USE MARK VI ARMORS! (not halo3 mark VI's. ¬_¬)

^ Good point Taxi.... I guess i'll take a shot at the logo.

Anyways, I updated the B30 page thing, but someone beat me too putting the E. Sword and Falling Box thing.
Note: I did put everything else though...
