Fonzies modding pack v5: How to do the mini hogs tutorial?

Well, I am following the mini hogs tut in fonzies modding pack v5, and I am using the hex editor he included, I switched the thing to decimal,and I cannot find the first line of decimal: 11307040 is it in hex, or decimal? can someone please explain this to me?

okay idk but here is the tut, can u explain it to me?


1. Open your map in a hex editor.

2. At '11307040', change the code to '00000000 00004D3F 00004D3F 00000000'.

3. At '11757472', change the code to '00000000 00000000 00004D3F 00004F3F'.

So how exactly do I do this tutorial? will the 11307040 be on the very very left side of the screen or what?

Do you know how hex works? It's organized into lines. If you're using hexedit, that's the far left column in your window. It's counting up from 0, just in a numerical language you don't know. *Looks down at bottom of safari window and sees that Pakar has replied* Yes, you should find that value on the far left column. Then find the values given in hex and change them to what it tells you to change them to.

Yes, but there is a slight problem.. there is no 11307040 on the very left side, I have check numerous times.

the closest thing I have gotten to was this: 11307052


I am using the hex editor called 0xED.

so idk what the problem is.. I am using a brand new map too.

The tutorials in FMP 5 are pretty Nawb Prewf (IMHO) but i think i see where you found this confusing. Was this question answered or was it just ignored?
