Organizing Halo Demo

Okay people. I just wanted to tell all of you how I organize my files. Of course most of you might be thinking: OMG Newb and anyway Halo Demo Launcher PWNS why do I need to organize my files?
Well, for those people, at least stay with me until the end.

Right, first I make a folder name Halo somewhere easy to access.
Image
As you can see there are multiple folders in here, CE, bitmaps (mine), H2 Import Try–which is something I tried but failed, which the folder i haven't deleted yet. Also there is my Halo Full folder, my Halo Demo, Halo Demo with bitmaps, Halo etc, Halo Font, Halo Map (layouts), Halo Modder, Halo Mods, Halo Original, Halo Stuff pic?–basically just random screenshots of game scores, Halo Trailers–my friend wanted them...¬_¬, My Mods–Mods done by me, Pictures, Refresh mod, visitor font (wrong folder LOL), and Working on Mods

Folders and uses
Most of the folders I use most often is Halo (full), Halo Demo, and Working on Mods.
As you can see, there is also a folder called "Halo Original". Take note of this, because now I do not need to back my files up. I just copy and paste which ever map I am modding into the "Working on Mods" folder.
My CE maps are organized into a certain way.
Image
The "imports" map is just CE imports into BG, trying each out. However, with Sparky's Incy, this is not needed.
The folder with the name Halo Demo is the MOST used. I use it all of the time, unless I want to play a normal game, which then I just open Halo Demo (app) from the Halo Original folder. The Halo Demo (folder) uses mods, my bitmaps, my UI by Mota, and everything. It is the folder which I modify the most, even deleting the movie in there (you can switch it with any .mov and you will watch it when you quit halo. However I simply tab out and press the close button when closing the app).
Image
Working on mods is exactly what the name says: Mods that i am currently working on.
Image
As you can see, the mods which I am working on VERY hardly is only Winter Party. I use the duplicate button (Command+D) to create a copy when I achieve something, to prevent the mod from being either corrupted or messed up. 'Quick mods" folder is just me messing around, experimenting.

*More to be posted*

This is my way of organizing Halo Demo. I'm just showing it to you. More forthcoming.
:D Thanks to all who stayed with me until the end!

Eh, I find that organizing with HDL fucked up my maps entirely.

You've got one interesting math class.

"Kids, today we're gonna learn how to organize your halo folder!"

Tramp: "Like, my boyfriend totally plays halo, he keeps using something he calls his "Aimbot", that's so crazy, right!?!?!?!?1"

it doesn't delete originals. What your supposed to do is have originals in when you first use it , so when you have nothing checked, it puts originals in...

I just don't like how it doesn't copy the map, and instead puts the original map in the program itself.

That can suck for testing CE conversions, especially if they don't work.

May i suggest making individual .Zip files of your maps and placing them in a folder called ORIGINALZIPS or something it makes getting the originals back easier:-)

Good idea Olly. However, one time I zipped something, after a few months, it wouldn't unzip..some error??
