Halo multiplayer hosting problem

Post by Asuka Langley » Thu Dec 03, 2009 2:33 pm

For some reason, my Halo demo can host a game, but no one cant join it. I mean no one can literally join it, and if you try to join, it would retry to connect and then get "failed to connect to server". I tried to connect with my laptop, no luck. Its not a css problem, nor a internet problem since I can easily join games.
Please help me! I am out of things of what I should try

i think it might be your port settings. hang on, i'll go check mine.

EDIT:when you first start up halo demo, hold command till the halo graphics setting pops up.
find the box called "advanced Multiplayer Options" and make sure your server port is 2302 and your client port is 2303.
