Flashlight Unlimited Time

Well, I've been messing around lately, and discovered new things. However, I'm not sharing the newly discovered yet, but sharing what I learned long ago by myself. For those of you who DON'T know, I'll be happy to assist you in this matter. For those of you who DO know, keep experimenting!

Making Flashlight Unlimited Time

First off let me say there are a few disadvantages to this method. The flashlight color CANNOT be the same. You can't turn it off.

So you open your map in Eschaton 0.8, and scroll down to the ligh tags.


Open ColorARBGS, and select "color upper bound". Select "Color Picker". Choose a color which you want the flashlight to be.

Thanks to this:

because the upper bound is when its on, and the lower bound is when its off..

That shows that if you change the lower bound, it'll be on forever.

Now when you start Halo, the flashlight, will be that color.

Already been done, hate to burst your bubble. One of my older mods, probably... Pirates of the Gulch or Sacred Grove, and possibly Legacy as I remember messing around with this sort of thing in that as well, used this. I also recall a flag in the weapons tag... "integrated flashlight" or some sort? I know the magic rifle in Sacred Grove used that.

I know Kayar..same with the MGM Super mod. However, I'm merely posting this to show THOSE who do NOT know, how to do it.

Thanks for notifying me of the "integrated flashlight" tag-I think i saw it somewhere. However, I have only found "integrated night vision" tag.

I believe the AR uses it? Check in there maybe...? I could be wrong...

IT IS on forever if it shines while its on AND off at the same time.
