Making Projectile Swaps CSS.

Post by MaxwellK » Wed Jun 07, 2006 5:19 pm

Is there any secret hints somone could give me? I saw that Beast had done this on a server. All that i've managed to do has been to make the swaps non css. Any helpful hints would be appreciated.

Precisely. And those servers lag like hell. Maybe it's just my internet, but it's never that bad. 3 people joined and there were pings of over a thousand...

Hehe...my worst ping is like, over 6000 or something. Like all the vehicles where shees and everyone was using them. It sucked balls. And usually there is lots of lag on those server because the net has to calculate everything on those projectiles. I think thats it. Not sure but whatever. Lol. :)

To create CSS projectiles in HexEdit, just follow this simple step by step tutorial:
  • 1. Open 1 bloodgulch.map file within the application HexEdit
    2. Press the "Apple" button then press J or go to "Find" along the top bar then "Go to address."
    3. Take the following hex value and paste it into the "Go to address" window:

    Code: Select all

    00B4554C
    4. At this point, just copy and paste the following into that area:

    Code: Select all

    23 40 F2 A3 20 20 20 20 63 73 73 20 70 72 6F 6A
    65 63 74 69 6C 65 73 20 65 6E 61 62 6C 65 64 2E
    5. Save the file, then play the game.
The sword.

That's awesome. AND, it even says in ASCII that CSS projectiles are enabled. Lol. Cool. Thanks. Later.
