alright, i was thinking i could make flood that eat flood and that acts like a health pack for the flood. im guessing this would be half possible with scripting but the eating could just be the "destroyed after dying" box. the eating could be in place of melee or something. someone tell me if thats possible.

1. If you have more than one question, it's customary to just have one main topic for all the questions you happen to have, as opposed to having three topics and taking up space.
2. New animations are most likely only possible through CE. The rest of this sounds like scripting.

So you want the Flood to eat other Flood, but at the same time heal them O_o?

Nah nah, the flood that's eating gets healed, not the flood that's being eaten, lol. At least, that's what I extracted from it.

no the flood eat their dead and get healed... and moxus, the flood are parasitic lifeforms. they are pretty grotesque on their own

I'm well aware of their nature; that's what I meant; it's not bad enough that they turn normal life into zombies, now you want to make them cannibalistic? Besides, what's the gain in terms of game-play? All of the AI will just eat each other.

If you've seen a game called something like "Super Energy Apocalypse", there's a race of sentient mutant space zombies who thrive on garbage. Eliminating the garbage is essential to killing the zombies, as they gain health by running over garbage created by anything from destroyed buildings, nuclear waste, and other dead zombies. Perhaps if dead Flood dropped something that gave living Flood "overhealth", it would introduce a Halo 3-style need to eliminate dead bodies with heavy weapons or risk being overrun by super-strong Flood.
Just an idea, idk if implementation is possible.

You're going to love the IRC MUD I'm working on. It includes a two-headed man (one of the heads being mentally handicapped) and a mutated conglomeration of schizophrenic brains stuck to a computer.

you use the flood death effects and swap one of the garb tags with the healthpack eqip, then change the healthpacks model to a flood body part.
