I have made this map containing the following adjustments:
-Grunt AI war two teams
-Full Auto sniper rifle
-Full auto pistol uzi
-Assault rifle grenade mod
File Size: 13.35MB
Map: Bloodgulch
CSS: Yes
The person who accepts this job will be PM'ed a download link to download the map(Please don't redistribute until I have looked over and tested the map, once thats done tell all your friends!)
Anyway I was hoping someone could mod the bitmaps of the map to match those of say snowfields, so the ground is snow instead of grass, the canyon walls and possibly if you wouldn't mind changing the sky to match the geophyrobia map.
I will be uploading the video of the mod onto youtube and I will mention your name in the credits etc. "user" modded bitmaps to get snow on bloodgulch as well as sky". Thanks in advance, themacman24

Yeah you might wanna rethink that, it'd lag and probably be overpowered. try to have some realism though
CSS: Yes
Not true, CSS means that if someone doesn't have the mod they can join and play normally. AI is automatically not CSS (Except for sparky's AI)

snow: extract it from a halo full map, specifically the 5th mission.
Then inject into bloodgulch and d-swap it in the scenario. (is it scenario or globals... check both...)

What exact bitmaps should I be extracting?
And isn't CSS meaning that other players need the map if they join your game?

^ not bitmaps. look in the 'rain' tag

I did this and it didn't work:
Opened b30.map and I tried b40.map as well.
Then went to rain tag
extracted it
opened bloodgulch.map
then expanded bloodgulch.map
imported tag
then clicked rebuild
copied it to map folder and no snow:(
I used Eschaton 0.8, any help would be greatly appreciated.

CSS means that other players
do not need the map to play (semi-CSS) or see changes (full CSS) if they join your game.
Not CSS means that other players
need the map if the join your game, or in the case of AI, they can't join at all unless the AI is synced, which isn't currently possible other than some special methods.

@ macman
you have to actually apply it...
look in scenario or globals, try to find an empty rain tag in the d-swapper. swap the rain tag that you just imported in.

rain tags need to be referenced in the sbsp tag. they are near the bottom.

Thanks but I only see snow flakes falling down, I meant for snow to cover the ground. Hmm......I think there has to be some bitmap editing or something please share if you know what to do.
