Well, its finally out. The outside of the Silent Cartographer is finally multiplayer. It is an entirely new map, and is inside the bloodgulch.map.
Includes Pelicans and supports ALL gametypes.

Actually, the "shaft" is an entirely different BSP. Its known as b30_b and exists at 0x806800 within the b30.map file. Since it is an entirely differnt "map" I could not include it in this file. You can't really have 2 BSP's in a multiplayer map, for the moment on PC modding its pretty impossible. There has to be a way, but it hasn't been done yet.
For those of you who wan't to know, a BSP is basically like a map within a map. Its got it's own headers, magics, locations, reflexives, etc. BSP stands for Binary Space Partition and contains a whole bunch of different things. Its made up of a BSP Tree which contains too many things for me to remember at this late hour, and yeah.
What I'm saying is though, including b30_b in bloodgulch.map along with b30_a which is the outside of the Silent Cartographer is currently impossible. lol

Now... this is bassically my idea. sword, couldn't you do something simliar to what you can do with HTML. <a href="text.html>Text.</a>? Is it possible to "link" a BSP into a BSP? I'm sure it's possible.
If you can have, bitmap.map, sound.map, and ui.map, all linked into BG, I'm sure you can link another map into bloodgulch,
. Unless, those maps are linked in Halo Demo its self, and BG is just getting feed back from a source in the .app.

2 BSP's in multiplayer don't really work because of Halo's BSP load thingy. You'll hit a BSP load trigger point, and the new map section is loaded. That wouldn't really work too well in Multiplayer.
And in fact, I have no clue how to do something like that. It would need to be compiled into the map on the original compile.
Finally, I think I once read somewhere that multiplayer will only support 1 BSP in the map at a time.
