im using the AR as a base
i know what went wrong. luckily i made another model. hopefully that will worke. hopefully
alright im pissed

compare and please help. if you want OBJ files then i can upload them

Oh yeah. Doesn't that have something to do with halo only working properly with models who's polygons are all triangles?

no, im taking the gravity rifle 3p and making it fp

didnt work. testing a cutdown model now

my Theory:
there is a FOV for the FP weapons
there is an invisible socket, like a coll that makes it look broken when you go out of the boundaries

For the love of god, use the plasma rifle as a base.
also, I hope you know how to unwrap and skin. because even the world model isn't unwrapped.

the gravy rifle is a COVENANT rifle, and the animations would look way better if it were to overheat. with needing to reload, your hand would just be moving randomly.

I suggest you stop....
To unwrap, I think you need 3ds max,but I think the only way to make it actually unwrapped ingame, is to use halo custom edition and or HEK
So... yeah.

once you get the model in a decent modeling program (most likely one you paid for) and get the unwrap, the unwrap should be the same in halo, not matter what way you get it ingame.

Though it is around I'd say 3.00-4,000 dollars, that is what i have and it works great. I think it is for PC only though.,, pretty sure it is.

also, hey! you know i tried this thing too once? but i used plasma rifle's model as a base! i think it would work best! not only for the antr, but also because of how it is a plasma weapon, and does not need to reload. <_< nor has any visible magazine to move, or anything....
