modding tools

hey, i used to come here all the time to learn how to mod halo demo and stuff, but i havent had internet access in my house for almost 3 years! i accidently deleted all my modding tools and all the maps i didnt back up. im hoping you guys can make a list of apps i can download

and befor you yell at me, i didnt check the stickies fora topic on this so im just gonna say please and post this....

please??

Most of the tools, you will need are in Fonzies Modding Pack v5: http://www.halodemomods.com/wiki/File:F ... ack_V5.zip

thanks! unfortunetly i just found out my flash drive that i backed up my maps on is ruined...... i gotta start over.....

I've apparently uploaded some of your mods on the Mod Database: http://www.halodemomods.com/wiki/Mod_Database so it's probably worth checking out. Just search for "lagger" on the page.

Also, I wouldn't really trust a modding pack. Good chances are it has outdated or alternate weird versions of programs. It'll also have stuff you probably don't need, and won't have stuff that would have been in the pack if it had been released later. Just browse through the tools page. The most obvious tools are probably Eschaton and swordedit.
I am no longer active to Halo or MGM, and don't guarantee a response on the forums or through email. I will however linger around the discord room for general chatting. It's been fun!

I concur, nil, and mention also that Modzy and I have been working on a new version of Eschaton, and the ball is in Modzy's court, so stay tuned for Eschaton 0.8.1.1, featuring an improved interface in tandem with my "complete" mapping of all the Halo tag types. You can use my plugins with version 0.8.1 also: check out the HDM home page news for a link.
