Does anybody know how to modify the collision data for the map bsp?
I am able to move the vertices around, but it doesn't create a solid surface which I can walk on (even though the collision vertices are moved). Any ideas?
(Collision vertices meaning CollBsp -> Reflexives -> Vertices). Also, what are Planes. (I know their like a square, but what are the values in the tag?)
And lol I was bored...

That's what you get when you have a team of bad pilots.

I guess we're stuck here then

The point of no return
How it was made:

Ring

Lol I went crazy

Woah... How did you do that?! Advanced version of swordedit?

Yup. Once I straighten out the collision problem I can release it pretty quickly.

Starlight v3 Beta? Yeah NutHead told me about that... This is gonna a put a whole new look on modding. Now we can mod the BSP (instead of nulling it or swapping it out).

Lets just hope Sparky comes and explains the collision stuff.
I have found 2/3 of the vertices (I think) in the map. I found the last one with hex, so I'm not entirely sure how to find it yet.
I changed it to Swordedit 3 since I never actually released it

Nah, it's not css (Least i hope it isn't LOL). It would be funny if I made a during-game one lol

Possible Scenario:
Samuco is running away from the blue sniper.
"Aha, I see you!" - Noob 1
Samuco quickly pulls out his Swordedit and frantically moves the slider to max and then pulls it back to normal.
Noob 1 is suddenly lifted up and then dropped and dies.
"GOD?! Is that you?!" - Noob 1
*Samuco snickers in front of his computer screen.*
Everyone else in game bows down to Samuco.
Moral of story? Samuco = win... and it's just plain funny.
NutHead. You told me when we were playing SOB today...
Yeah I think Sparky needs to get back online and answer all these modding questions that are piling up.
Hmm. What if we could create more vertices? Complete mastery of the BSP. 0.0

Now that's a true storey

The BSP is its own collision. you are just messing with the verts (Kudos to you for that). collision may not be possible.

I assume you're meaning the Collision BSP.
I mean that I am moving the collision bsp vertices around (the light blue squares. They are hidden inside the green in the pics) but I'm not able to walk on the surfaces. Is there a third set of vertices I need to change?

Try selecting "Walk on walls" flag for the spartan biped. I think, by raising altitude, you made it a wall. If its a flat warp, maybe the BSP/Halo engine is thinking it's a wall? Just a random suggestion.
I think Jingle Hells is right, Sparky probably knows the answer to this question.

i was just about to flamey you, but that is a pretty good suggestion.
edit: when recompiling, halo has an annoying sealed collision thing. idk about this tho.

Whew... Thank God for this random thought that popped into my head. >.<
