You still have to do lots in eschaton, but it isn't neccercary to use hexedit now :D

Ignore human please.

Swordedit is the same old but good. Eschaton's got a bunch new features, and new looks. Also Sparky made some nice plug-ins for eschaton that really helps for intense modding. We got some nice apps here and there like pearl, Sound injector, and Hdemo launcher. Memory Modding was a hype for a while, but has died down a bit, you can look at that in a sticky and at HDM. CE is still being imported and used like a foreign slut, and Sparky is still being Da Vinci with a bunch of huge ass projects.

...although Samuco's SwordEdit:Starlight is not posted there yet, so you can find it on the forum here instead.
My plugins for Eschaton are there, and I'd suggest using them, as they are a complete map-out of all the tags for Halo.
I'm working on Zeus, which should be out at some point this year, hopefully soon.
Modzy has overhauled Pearl several times and we're looking forward to the latest version of it that can convert maps between Full and Demo from CE. He and I also collaborated upon an update to Eschaton which might be worth using.
nil's claim to fame is Memory Modding; for more info, see the Memory Modding page at HDM. Also, I suggest using his HDemoEditor and HDemoLauncher applications over on the tools page at HDM (link above).
