Can you swap a rock's mod2 into a weapon and scale the rock that way?

It's totally possible to swap the bloodgulch BSP with one from another map, correct? Because while exploring certain maps with swordedit I have found that they contain different BSP's with scenario structures similar to that of bloodgulch. I've been trying to figure this out myself by extracting BSP's through eschaton (extracting the actual sbsp tag crashes eschaton, so I extracted it into a .obj file in the scenario tab,) but am unsure what the next step to take is. I have used tools like the BSP nuller, scenario swapper, etc. but need some direction.

Here, try this video: http://www.macgamingmods.com/?q=node/43
it says sp to mp bsp replace, but the same should work for mp to mp. the other tool he's talking about really isn't necessarily, but you'll have to manually shift spawn points and such with swordedit.

Alright, that worked. Good to see something new and so simple; I'm surprised I hadn't seen it before. Also, Modzy's modded swordedit seems to handle larger maps a bit better than the original, which is why i was able to save spawn point changes on larger maps like the silent cartographer. Either way, duplicating scenery in swordedit seems to break the map as a whole, but it tends to only happen from time to time. There are instances when I can duplicate scenery with no problem at all, and other times when I have to reverse all the changes I've made to have the map be playable again.

hmm, perhaps if you go into your scnr tag in eschaton, find the first scen tag in there, and duplicate that one in swordedit? that might work.

Hey, you know that you can't save your maps twice in a single swordedit session, right? After you save you have to restart swordedit and load the map again. Otherwise it's gonna break the map. :-\

Tip: use sparkedit if you can.

Aw, dammit. :( We should really include a readme in swordedit that states so. :-\

By the way swordedit messes up the scenario in the long run. I don't know why, but i've noticed that maps begin to act weirdly after too many swordedit saves. o_o

Shit, i'm sorry that i didn't tell you earlier! :-\ I didn't think about it.

It's become so second nature to us to just quit after saving xD. The worst is when you hit cmd-S and cmd-Q then realize that cmd-S doesn't do anything in swordedit and you just lost your edits.
