I'm releasing a collection I just formed of all the Halo 1 bitmap images as .tif image files. This can be used for reference purposes or can be used in Eschaton to overwrite the existing bitmaps.

I'm also going to release some new Halo 1 energy sword tags, including unique animations and ... well, the same energy sword, but new stuff to make its usability legitimate for cyborgs. I'll do some sound editing but also use what assets I already have if I think they are still worthwhile.

In case you are wondering why I'm doing this, it's because the Halo 2 energy sword first-person model and animations were not acceptable in a Halo 1 map... so I'm doing it the more fun and creative way, generating new ones, rather than doing it the hack-ish and pretty lame and ugly way(s). I might also add some new third-person energy sword animations to the cyborg. Should look pretty cool.
