Interesting Discovery...
I just found out that Engineers actually DO have a death animation. It's pretty weird...they blow up in a flood carrier form sort-of-fation...only they also send purple stuff everywhere. The way to do this is to go into HMT, go to the dependency swapper, go to the vehi tag, go to Pelican, and then change the blank actv things to engineers. When the Pelican lands, shoot the Engineers and watch what happens. I don't know if this works in the demo since I found this out in the full version....

Strange. Hey Shadow, what part of the carrier spawns the infections? The damage, effect, death animation, model, etc... Ive looked for ages, but ive got nothing on it. Because if we switched that with an explosion, we might be on the way to Halo 1 non-CE chain-spawning (nobody has figured it out, am i correct?)
actually drac i think someone did figure out chain spawning. and im pretty sure it was some noob.
i think i read it on CH. it was a nooby mod he was going to make but he reckons he was going to put chain spawning nades in it cause he had figured it out accidently...
maybe he wa lying, but why would he?
couldnt you just make the explosion of a nade be a nade itself?
so the grenade explodes and its explosion is ten more grenades.....

Actually, that "noob" was my freind. And hes not modding Halo 1, hes modding Halo 2. And chainspawning in Halo 2 is, evidently, much easier than Halo 1. And Shadow, I meant, how does the Carrier Form's explosion spawn the Infection forms. Certainly not loading zones. That spawns the carrier, which in turn spawns the infection. You know...

What you do, is swap the effect of the frag grenade, with the projectile of the plasma grenade, and you have a chain spawning grenade. Easy as that. I just don't really know if it'll work. And with the sniper rifle, I'm sure you could just swap the effect of the contrail, with the projectile of something, and there you have it; chain spawning in Halo 1.
