For your general information, and since advertising other Halo based forums is ok, a new forum has been put up called the Mac - PC conversion team. A general place which, if you have the time, might want to check out. There are already a few CE conversions up there so check it out and join if you wish. Supports Halo Demo, Trial, Full PC and Mac, and CE. Check it out!

People, just make sure to look both in the Map releases page and the Converted Maps section in the forums for files. And Shadow, are you planning to have ALL the released maps there? Cause I haven't seen the original 8, etc, there yet.

noob question here, but what do you do with the converted maps in halo demo? i have the beaver creek map and i renamed it blodglch but it dosent wanna read.

It won't work. There's a lot of reasons for it. Number one reason would probably be because you didn't change the name of the map internally. Number two is that it probably has a full header rather than a demo header. Number three is that most likely demo uses tags that are slightly different versions of the full ones and like how CE maps use different versions of the full ones they either need to be converted or replaced. Those are 3 good reasons why it won't work.
