Kill Frenzy

Since Killtacular is stopped right now, it might be possible to make another version (Killtacular v2) named Kill Frenzy, that wouldnt require heavy Sparkediting. So Im looking for weapon and vehicle ideas.

These have already been suggested:
(*=doable, #=probably doable, @=I have no idea...)

*-time bomb
*-portable camo
*-"Force" guns
#-land mines
#-portable man cannon/grav lift
#-poison gas
#-Air strike
@-multiple ammo shooter (shoots different shots based on ammo picked up)

Poison gas might be possible by swapping the light or something of the flamethrower for the light of the fuel rod explosion, but that's all I can think of. Maybe import the scenery particle jets from b30 where the downed pelican is. Land mines... I thought about this, tried to come up with a way to make the nades explode when you picked them up. But it didn't work... *shrug*. If all else fails, make a weapon that sticks firing when dropped, and give it the effect of a frag grenade explosion. Then find a way to give it a ton of weight, so that it won't be thrown by the explosion, or give the explosion no force. The only problem is someone basically has to "set" the land mine, and they'd end up commiting suicide by doing so...

Do you mean remove the BSP or just obliterate it with an explosion?

I've got an airstrike gun in my upcoming mod. It'll probably be released this weekend.

I think he means create a bomb with a range big enough to blow everyone up, which is not so cool because it's already been done and it's kinda nooby.

Like the size of a base or two. i thought of this a while ago. Run into the enemy base and drop a bomb into the base. maybe 45 seconds later, FABOOOOM!!!! Base go bye-bye. :twisted:

Hey zap, can I "steal" your idea of the airstrike gun? I havnt quite figured it out yet. If you could give me a hint or tell me how?

Although I have a theory on how, even though Im not quite sure if it how it works.

well I don't know about the mines , but making it timed so and so long is jjust a matter of Eschatonning it. Likewise with the explosion radius, though i'm not sure what kind of effects you can bring in.


Some problems?
The walls might block the explosion?
Questionable coolness, if their isn't an awesom Effect Edit.

Yeah, I think it is a problem with walls. Although, if a tank shoots straight through to hit the bases' inner wall, and your standing behind it, you can die. So maybe it will work. Plus, I would rather have a land mine instead of a bomb. And I do sorta remember a thing that says something about proximity explosions.

Here's a huge hint: make sure you have the latest plugins for eschaton and that you are using the entity style ones.
