Questions about using mods

I few minutes ago I played axis... then when i quit to use a different mod it didn't work i just loaded bloodgulch origanal.. then when i tried axis again it didnt work... I tryed restarting unziping it again and lots more :x Ok so help?

Did you take the original out, and then put it in again? Did you swap out the bitmaps from the AXIS thing back to the originals? Can you tel us exactly what happened?

i took out the origanials then i put in axis's bitmaps and map

Sounds like you did something else stupid to your maps folder and don't know what you did. Tough luck, we can't help. Get a new maps folder.

It is a lot easier to use Yummy's Switchers.

It Installs mods, and switches out Gametypes and mods. And you always know what is in and what is available.

actualy i find it easier to just have a halo mods folder and a back up maps folder (wich every modder should have) then just copy and paste :D

I actually made an Automator application to install and uninstall mods. Not as good as real programming, but it gets the job done.

Could someone direct me to tutorials on using leopards Automater. Cause since i heard what it does. I'd like to learn to use it.
