You can find Eschaton in the front page of MGM or with HMT in Fonzie's Modding Pack also on the front page.

Re: bloodgulch texture
Just download Fonzie's modding pack V4 and you'll have everything you need and more.
Re: bloodgulch texture
I thought Altimit made it clear that .7 wasn't another build on eschaton, just a test on using a bitmap interface. Which would mean of course that the most recent version is still .6.1.

0.6.2 is the unofficial name people have been giving 0.6.1 with a better plugin set.
I only increment version numbers when there's a change in code so as far as publicly released there's only 0.6.1.
For those curious the current crop is as follows:
Public Release: Eschaton 0.6.1
Public Demo: Eschaton 0.7 Bitmap Demo v2
Private: Eschaton 0.7.X internal beta (can't remember for the life of me what version is floating around with my beta testers)
As a rule, I never release a new major version until it has all of the features of a previous one (discounting obsolete/unused features). Minor version updates are to address bugs that were not found during private beta testing. Which is why from about 0.4 on-ward the most common versions have been 0.4.1, 0.5.1, 0.6.1 as opposed to 0.4, 0.5 and 0.6. The reason for not having a 1.0 version is because Eschaton is not finished and public releases are effectively open betas.
Long story short. New plugins does not a new version make. Especially since plugin sets are entirely variable and can fork in all kinds of directions. Some people could be using 64-pack plugins while others might get their hands on a new crop of conure plugins while not even using the 64-pack. Which version is considered newer?

Re: bloodgulch texture
O_o I just downloaded FMP-4 again...
Is it perhaps just new plugins, that somehow got renamed as 0.6.2?

nvm, reread your post, didn't catch that the first time.
