Halo Graphics

I've got a few questions to ask about Halo graphics. I'm not sure if it's my computer's problem, or if it's some settings.

1. Weapons don't shine and look like plastic

2. When I look from a distance/angle, the floor of the blood gulch base goes black

3. (Halo UB) When I look from a distance, things look brownish and foggy

4. (Halo UB) I can't see most sceneries

1. Hold down command (The thing on both sides of teh spacebar) as halo starts. A window should pop up, mess with the graphic settingz.
2. BBS
3, 4. Your Compy haz problemz.

That happened to me with Halo Full, try changing the startup settings to vertex shaders only.

Halo UB + PPC ≠ great.
Halo UB doesn't really function well on PPC, lag etc. Not sure if this is your problem I'm just throwing it out there.
An example is the score glitch where you lose all the scores and such, that doesn't happen on intel.

me 2. The bitmaps also seem screwed up, when i get out of vehicles the cyborgs goes all black and white, and everything seems kind of hazy.

Yeah. Also, what I meant for weapons "shining" is something like this Image

Count yourself lucky. My graphics are ubercrap. I can't even see textures on mine, even with all of the settings turned up. *unhappyface* Anyway, I'm not sure what's wrong with yours. Try getting a new graphics card :P

I'm on a school'sMacBook, I can't get a new graphic card >_> My friend has an exact same graphic card as mine, and he can see the shineh.

I think you're using damned Vertex Shaders. Or Advanced Pixel Shading. Use Pixel+Vertex dammnit!

Vertex shaders suck unless you're playing UB (That's not really a choice, lul)
And I'm using Pixel + Vertex.
