Actually, I hope that they won't be "noobs" and say "WTF LAG" and rage-quit. Show me a host, and I'll show you who has experienced that situation.

The HaloDemoMods.com Account's Disk Quota is at 34%, which is just fine.

I've been getting alot of spam recently, and it's flooding in pretty quick, like ten messages in ten minutes.

Once again, I updated HDM to a newer version of PHP and MediaWiki.
I also made the spam settings at their strictest level, so just make sure you're not using the HDM e-mail address you have all around the internet, and it should be ok.

I have the same settings as y'all, and I get no spam. Give it another day, then let me know if you're still receiving spam.

You won't see the source files anymore; the e-mail will simply be marked as *** POSSIBLE SPAM *** and be placed in your Junk folder, probably.

HDM webmail users, please note that if you do not already have Junk and Trash folders defined in the lefthand side of the webmail application, you can create the folders Junk and Trash, and they will automatically be linked for respective use. You can add these folders and change how they are used under the options which are accessed by clicking the mechanical spoke wheel icon at the top right of the window.

I received a legitimate e-mail in my Junk folder, so I warn that you may also receive legitimate emails in your spam/junk folder also. Since we've had some issues in the past, I'll only change the spam rules for your account if you ask me.

No filter is perfect.

I dealt a huge BANHAMMER blow to spambots and went through about 211 user accounts and blocked them. It's time for a new policy:
NEW POLICY
When you register at HDM, you must add content to your User Page or your User Talk page within 1 week of your registration. Otherwise, your username will be banned and you will have to register again.
This will help identify and remove spambots quickly.
