Ok So How do I get started?

Devil Bunny. To start modding the Halo Demo you need a hex editor. I recommend HexEdit for that. Then you need to start off with a simple idea for a mod, lets say you want to switch the spawn point of the fuel rod with that of the rocket launcher. You need to find the code for the rod and the code for the rocket launcher and swap them. Then save and play. The hard point is finding the code for each weapon or vehicle.

i have a spreadsheet and this is a picture of it. Am i using the right one? what category would i swap the offsets with? also- which one would i swap of offset, value, meta, indent, meta size...?

please help. i like to use hmt but you need hex knowlege for mods that everyone can see.
(don't ask me how to use hmt for halo demo mods it took alot of hacking)
