Music importing help please?

Hey, I know this is kinda noobish, but how do you get a music track from, say, your iTunes library into eschaton to use as a sound in Halo? How do you do it?

It isn't noobish, the technique wasn't actually in practice until relatively recently. Music files must be internalized similarly to internalizing bitmaps. The file must be either .ogg or .wav. And... ask Modzy. Word on the street is he's the man to see for that sort of thing.
Good luck.

You need to be able to inject the sound file. Modzy was working on a program to do it, but I think he stalled out on it. Eschaton can extract sound files but putting sound files in is not so simple.

No. For one thing, the "ending" does not actually make the file type be the file type you want it to be. You would need to convert the file. "Dragging it in" will not work either, and I think you should know that by now. No application we have currently can internalize sounds (unless you go yell at Modzy hint hint).

Eschaton can internalize sounds.
1) since when? and how?
2) i talked to sparky about either the same thing, or something really close, both having to do with putting sound files into the map. He said you have to do it with CE, but from what im seeing here, there might be either 1 or more other way(s)...

Since 0.7.2 I think. Internalizing is not the problem. It's injecting a new sound file. Really, internalizing is trivially easy.

Ask either Sparky or Perception about it. Both of them know how to inject sound files. You'll also need an audio wrapping program to change to the format you need. You can't just add a few letters onto your file and change it's type. I usually use SoX Wrap for changing formats, you can find it
here.

It was funny. For a minute I couldnt find it after I got it on the desktop.
PS: What is Amadeus and why is it needed? I also used the tool to inject some fun Mario sounds into Halo. Thanks Modzy. Was quite nice to hear the death theme instead of "Game Over".
