Keyword: Projectile. It's like what SBF said. Like say you aim at something with the rocket launcher, fire, and rockets rain from above, instead of coming out of the weapon.

Ohh ok. Thanks. That would be funny though, for instance some n00b picks up a rocket launcher and fires it, then you see like 50 rl projectiles coming from the sky down on him and killing him.

Then you could be able to do what SI19 is doing with Apocolypse Gulch. I'm pretty sure he made rocket projectile spawn in the air pointing down, then replaced the Rocket model with that of a rock. And voila! Meteors raining down on poor helpless peeps. :)

I'm pretty sure that is how he did it. :P

that would explain it. and also he probably made the rocket launcher shoot multiple projectiles bitmasked it to have a shoot while on the ground thing also...

No, I'm pretty sure he just stuffed a projectile into an item collection and moved the imem collection up iton the air.

since this topic is information exchange i thought i would just ask here instead of making a new topic. ive been trying for a while now to add weapon spawn points. everything i try never works.

You would add the weapon and it's code to the cmti tags. For instance xxxxyyyyzzzzrrrrcmtiaaaa00000bbbb
(Spawn Point) (Item Collection) (12 Byte Weapon Code)

This must be done on an empty cmti code if you're adding a NEW weapon spawn point. If you're just changing it, then well, you should know how to do that if you're in this board.

and i know that the spawn point shown there is off the map but im just using it as an example. i did try putting it on the map but put it back to the original spawn point.
