Actually, the fogs purple, in keeping with the rest of the new map. You'll find that when you play it, the fog is still there.

When will this mod be released i wanna check it out for myself?

Good question. First things first; rushing me won't get you anywhere but further away from a Public Beta. I will be releasing the maps to a select few that I choose, pre-release. I am considering a Public Beta, but I frown upon that sort of thing as it will somewhat ruin the final release; less built up anticipation. .
So:
Finish Multiplayer (Let's say 1-2 Weeks as an estimate)
Multiplayer Closed Beta
Finish Campaign (Another 1 or 2 weeks)
Campaign Closed Beta
-Public Complete Beta may be inserted here-
Bug fixes, general polishing (2-3 days)
Release to Public
